How I met my man…

Mutual friends helped us make our acquaintance, by first introducing us to each other. For what followed, no help was needed!

Then, he proposed…

On one of our trips, in Copenhagen! He proposed to me one night as we were dining at a beautiful restaurant, in the picturesque port of Nyhavn. It was totally unexpected, but saying yes came very naturally to me! I was quite moved and I will never forget this moment!

We got married on 18 June, in the church of Panagia Vrefokratousa, in the Lolos estate event venue!

If I had to choose one favorite moment!

It’s hard to pick just one because each and every one of them was wonderful and unique! But I would like to mention the moment I arrived at the church and found Panos waiting for me, deeply moved. Our first dance was also one of the highlights!

Magic lies in the details!

Our wedding style was Vintage, in the shades of ecru! The color palette of my bridal bouquet was in pale pink and salmon! As for its flowers, we chose David Austin roses, hydrangeas, baby roses, bouvardias, freesias and eustomas!

For the decoration, we went for a rustic look with vintage details! I can remember the tree trunks, the jars wrapped in burlap and hand-knitted lace, that were in perfect harmony with my handmade Zolotas gown from the Hellenic Vintage collection!

The best wedding decision I ever made… and also the worst one!

The best one was that we started planning quite early! Everything was organized on time and we really enjoyed the whole experience leading to our wedding ceremony without any stress or rush! There were no bad decisions!
If I could give some advice to a bride-to-be…

Begin her wedding planning early, and enjoy the big day to the fullest without feeling anxious about it!

Oh, my wedding dress!

My wedding dress was one of the first ones I set my eyes on, and it really stuck in my mind! And honestly, I tried on a lot of different gowns, but they all led back to this one! It was from the Hellenic Vintage collection and I loved that it was airy and dainty,  not the typical white wedding dress! Most of all, it was unique and distinctive!

Everyone in the Atelier was a professional. Amazing people that we were happy to meet each time we visited the bridal house! And when it came to my husband’s attire, the “Gentlemen Experts by Atelier Zolotas” was the perfect choice.

I would like to thank the following people, for turning my dream into a wedding reality…
