It surely is the most festive season of the year… Who wouldn’t embrace the allure of Christmas and the magic feeling it brings with it? Christmas is about family, surprises, love, good food, partying and luxury… which sound like the truly essential ingredients of a beautiful wedding!
If you’re getting married this season, you can allow the delicate warmth of gold create a beautiful atmosphere, without it looking as if King Midas has put his hands on every detail of your decoration! This is where the wedding planners come in!
When we started having meetings in wool sweaters, we wanted to prepare something very special, as Christmas time was near. We contacted the great team of e.m. for you , the wedding planners that we liked from the first moment we met them… We meet wedding planners all the time, but we really loved these two, because of the variety of ideas they brought to the table, their fresh way of thinking and the fact that they made the execution of our concepts, in this case, a festive photo shoot, appear like a piece of cake.
I skip my impulse to talk about cake too early, so let’s talk about the inspiration behind it all! We picked two people who are not professional models but yet they look as if they were, to tell a story of a Christmas wedding with golden details and natural decoration!
The scene was all set for G wedd photography, with the flowers and Christmas details by Antoinetta Koutsouradi, the art de la table by Zoulovits, the golden sugar drageés by Dragees Hatziyiannakis and the cake by Evangelos Chasiotis Haute Patisserie, who completed the wedding atmosphere.
In the prestigious Caffe i fratti, Eleni (transformed by the hands of Eleni Stamati ) and Mikes, were attired in Atelier Zolotas couture. For the bride, we chose the completely handmade Mayia dress, whose transparency was breathtaking. The groom was dressed in Gentlemen Experts by Atelier Zolotas. The stunning gold jewelry by Thallo completed the bridal look.
At Caffe i fratti, the rustic furniture, the impressive chandelier and the monastic table with the industrial armchairs became the perfect setting for the 24-carat gold-plated tableware, placed on the green velvet napkins. Garlands of natural firs embellished with cotton, pine nuts, walnuts and gold candles dominated as the centerpiece. The decoration was completed with the golden details of the cake, invitations, and sugar drageés. Who can resist their elegant charm?
Make your new start in life just before the beginning of the New Year… Merry Wedding!
PS. Very real plot twist: Two days before the photo shoot, all the material was stolen during its transportation. Seeing the final outcome one could not tell, but we had to remake all the arrangements and provide everything from scratch, after recovering from the shock. If these wedding planners could handle this hitch and be able to save the day at the end, we believe they could handle anything.
