How I met my man…

We met at college… We both studied in Thessaloniki, one of the most vibrant Greek cities!

Then, he proposed…

It was Christmas time and we were in Paris! He proposed to me under the Eiffel Tower. We eventually got married at the church of Saint Theodorus, in Litochoro, on July 9th.

The magic lies in the details!

Our wedding style was simple and summerish, fitting the season! The dominant color was white, as in my dress! For the flower arrangement, we mainly went for sunflowers, while my bridal bouquet consisted of tulips and wheat! There was a natural feeling in every aspect of our day.

A specific detail I think everyone will remember was the arch -decorated with sunflowers. We also had it at our reception, and it formed a path towards the sea…

The best wedding decision I ever made… and also the worst one!

Having the reception party by the sea, along with arriving at the venue by boat were my favorite ones! I can’t recall a bad one, nothing made us unhappy on that day!

If I had to choose one favorite moment!

It would be our first dance, which was followed by our friends flocking to the dancefloor!

To the rhythm of our first dance…

It is a Greek one, called “Mathe mou”, by Mr. Bachata, which we danced accordingly!

If I could give some advice to a bride-to-be…

Just enjoy it, don’t get nervous! Everything happens for you and your mate!

Oh, my wedding dress!

I would characterize my dress as unique and distinctive! Its handmade weaving perfectly matched our wedding style… We loved the Zolotas experience and got to meet very genuine, kind and helpful people!
