How I met my man…

We met at a summer camp, at Kalapanagiotis village and then we became friends. I had to see him for a long time, and after for 5 years, when he did his military service, we came back by accident and started gone out.

Then, he proposed…

We had decided to get married early, but the only thing that remained was the official proposal. So one Sunday afternoon, he painted the wall behind the clock with chalkboard color and wrote: “Marry me!”…and so it was!

We got married in the chapel of Panagia Eleousa, in Kato Dry, durng the summer!

The magic lies in the details!

The ceremony took place in a small chapel and the reception party at a beautiful winery, so all the details we used, harmonized with the rustic mood.

We used pastel shades with some slight intense touches. The bouquet and wreath of flowers for my hair were choices surprised us by the amazing florist George Nikodimos.

If I had to stand out something from the decoration, these would be the baskets in the churchyard, the different bouquets of flowers and candles placed at the dinner tables, the gift for our guests, which was home & handmade olive oil from our grandparents’ crop, along with a rosemary sprig from the grandmother’s garden and of course the decoration of our wedding cake.

The best wedding decision I ever made… and also the worst one!

The best wedding decision we ever made about the organization of our wedding, was that we chose to cooperate with very good professionals, who showed from the beginning that they were willing to help us to get the best possible result!

If I had to choose one favorite moment!

It’s hard to pick one … some of them were, when I met friends and relatives in the backyard of the house we had rented for the “allamata”, the narrow path of the village from home to church, accompanied by a musicians, family and friends, our entry to the party after the wedding and of course our first dance.

To the rhythm of our first dance!

For our entrance to the reception we chose “A sky full of stars” by Coldplay, and for our first dance, we chose our favorite song “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran.

If I could give some advice to a bride-to-be…

I would tell her, get inspired about your marriage, from everyday and familiar things you like.

Take a shot! Save whatever you like on your mobile phone. It is very helpful for the professionals who work with you to understand exactly how you are dreaming of that special day.

Take a deep breath! Relax and enjoy every moment!

Oh, my wedding dress!

I knew from the very first moment I saw it on the site, that this was my dream wedding dress. I had chosen it before we decided on the wedding date. I visited atelier Zolotas, and when I finally tried it on, reality surpassed my imagination. Both the embroidery, the lace, and the fabric, as well as the veil, perfectly matched with my style! Everything was so beautiful and special. My wedding dress matched my wedding style perfectly. At the bridal party, the dress turned into a crop top with a skirt and in combination with my flat sandals, I felt completely relaxed and ready to dance at the party.

The amazing team of atelier Zolotas, took care of every little detail and every concern of mine, to make it all exactly what I wanted. Everyone was great professionals and made me feel so comfortable with them from the start and it was no doubt that everything would be perfect!
