How I met my man…
It was the summer of 2007. We were both tenants in the same building! As the building administrator, he seized the opportunity to welcome me, on behalf of everyone! He took his role very seriously as you can understand!!
Then, he proposed…
He chose a beautiful restaurant, and he had planned everything to the last detail! I was supposed to meet his uncles that night, but instead of a table for ten, we were seated at a table for two! You see, he had conspired with the manager of the restaurant, who now happens to be our best man! I became very nervous because I thought that there was a mistake in our booking, until he presented me with a wedding ring! That moment will never fade!
We got married in the church Porta of Panagia, in Pili, a beautiful town in Trikala.
The magic lies in the details!
Our wedding was romantic and vintage, but with a modern twist! The color of white was dominant, as well as earthy tones. As for the flowers, we mainly used white & pink astilbe for my bridal bouquet. For the main decoration, we used lisianthus with white roses and some astilbe blooms!
What I mostly loved about the decoration was the choice of astilbe blooms, the vintage lace on our wedding favors which matched with my wedding dress and the handmade vow crowns!
The best wedding decision I ever made… and also the worst one!
The best was having the wedding in the country, as well as the choice of church, which is a gem in itself! I can’t think of any bad decisions!
If I had to choose one favorite moment!
It would be casting my eyes on Theodosios at the church, as soon as I arrived. I felt so beautiful and relaxed! We were both truly living the moment without any stress, just pure joy!
If I could give some advice to a bride-to-be…
Have your wedding in the country, if you have the opportunity. Start your planning early, with simple ideas and no anxiety! After that, just enjoy each and every moment!
Oh, my wedding dress!
It was amazing! Simply gorgeous… I loved it from the first moment I put it on… My beloved Sara insisted that I tried it on… she was absolutely right! No other dress moved me in the same way!
I only have beautiful memories from Atelier Zolotas. I was impeccably assisted! All the girls were great! Especially my wedding consultant, Sara, who knew exactly what to suggest to me! I felt as if we had known each other forever! Loved every moment!
I would like to thank the following people, for turning my dream into a wedding reality…
