Meet Maria, our back bow wedding dress bride

How I met my man

I know how romantic it sounds, but we met in a telephony store! I was standing right in front of him, in the queue to the cashier. From where he stood he was able to peek on my name that was written on the bill I was holding. After that, I received a friend request in the well-known social media network and so our acquaintance started!

Then, he proposed…

He unexpectedly came to my work one day and just asked me to marry him! We got married on September 17, at Saint Varvara of Aigaleo city.

The magic lies in the details…

Our wedding style was vintage, in the color palette of sand and ecru. The flowers of my bouquet were mainly sunflowers and green hydrangea!

I liked everything about the decoration, but especially our wedding favors. They were so tastefully wrapped in lace! And from what I heard, our guests loved them as well…

The best wedding decision I ever made…

I started early and I did a lot of research on bridal blogs before the wedding date. But in the end, I did everything my way!

If I had to choose one favorite moment!

It was actually a funny one! I knew I had to expect some crazy prank by my husband’s friends… and I was right! During the reception, they rushed on the dancefloor with a shopping trolley, put traffic cones on the dancefloor and danced around us! Everyone thought it was some kind of custom! We laughed our hearts out!!

If I could give some advice to a bride-to-be…

Don’t let other people’s opinions affect your own, and remain calm during the wedding preparations! That is the only way to actually enjoy the whole experience!

Oh, my wedding dress!

Confirming the cliché, I chose the dress I tried on first! I also had an idea of my own that I shared with the designer, VG Zolotas. So after our meeting, he created a transforming wedding dress for me. After the wedding ceremony, I removed the ball gown skirt, creating a completely different bridal look for the reception! Everyone loved it, it was very impressive.
